PROJECT MANAGEMENTSYSTEM ANALYSIS
Multi-System Academic Platform (Freelance)
Directed delivery of 5 interconnected academic web sub-systems for an institutional client, authoring the full PRD/SRS documentation and running a 4-developer Agile team end-to-end.
CONTEXT / PROBLEM
Five systems, one institutional client, zero room for scope drift.
An institutional academic client needed 5 interconnected web sub-systems delivered on a fixed timeline, with strict scope alignment and consistent quality across a distributed development team I hadn't worked with before.
APPROACH
Document first, then run the team against the documentation.
01
Author the requirements
Wrote comprehensive PRDs and SRS documents covering functional scope, modules, and workflows for all 5 sub-systems before development started.
02
Turn requirements into visuals
Transformed complex institutional requirements into visual mockups the client and developers could sign off on together.
03
Run daily Agile execution
Held daily stand-ups with 4 developers, tracking modular status via structured spreadsheets and resolving technical bottlenecks as they surfaced.
RESULT / IMPACT
All 5 sub-systems shipped aligned to scope, on schedule.
5
interconnected sub-systems delivered
4
developers coordinated across a fully remote engagement
Delivered all 5 sub-systems with full scope alignment and quality deployment — proof that documentation-first project management holds up even with a distributed team assembled for a single engagement.
